Gary Nicklaus

Managing Partner

Mr. Nicklaus is a Managing Partner of Nicklaus Brown & Co. and a member of the Board of Directors of Goods & Services and Blueriver.

He is Co-Chairman of the Children’s Healthcare Charity, Inc. a non-profit organization which manages the operations of the Honda Classic PGA Tour event and is the primary beneficiary of the tournament. He is also a Commissioner of The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.  Mr. Nicklaus played golf professionally on the PGA Tour, the European Tour, and on the PGA Tour Champions Tour.

Mr. Nicklaus was formerly a Vice Chairman of the Nicklaus Companies where he was responsible for principal investments and designed golf courses throughout the United States, Spain, and the United Kingdom.

Mr. Nicklaus received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from The Ohio State University where he was an All-American in golf.

Rory Brown

Managing Partner

Mr. Brown is a Managing Partner of Nicklaus Brown & Co. and the Executive Chair of Goods & Services and Blueriver.

Mr. Brown has focused on investment management and technology over the course of his career and has previously been the Chair of one of the first Internet Banks, of a $7 billion dollar RIA, and of a $70 billion investment management platform. Mr. Brown was named Financial Services Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young and has been a Founder of companies included in the Inc. 500.

Mr. Brown received a Bachelor of Science from Cal Poly Humboldt, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Charleston and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Gabriel Apodaca

Partner

Mr. Apodaca is a Partner of Nicklaus Brown & Co, the CEO, and a founder of Blueriver.  Mr. Apodaca has a digital technology, and business management background where he developed, managed and marketed products and services for start-ups and Fortune 500 Companies.

Mr. Apodaca was previously an Executive Vice President for a leading LATAM technology company with offices in the United States and Mexico. Prior to moving into technology outsourcing, Mr. Apodaca was a Senior Manager in KPMG’s Information, Communication and Entertainment (ICE) practice. Mr. Apodaca began his career at Oracle Corporation where was a Senior Director responsible for three development and implementation practices and ran the Southwest and Pacific Rim Regions.

Mr. Apodaca received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from National University.

Jack Purcell

Partner

Mr. Purcell is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Grenadier Associates Ltd., and serves as a Partner of Nicklaus Brown & Co. and formerly Omnicom Group (NYSE – OMC) where he served as Chairman of the Governance Committee and was a member of the Finance and Executive Committees.

Mr. Purcell formerly served as Chief Executive Officer of SFN Cos. Inc., Executive Vice President and COO of CBS, Inc., Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Gannett Co., Inc. and as the Chairman of Donnelley Marketing, Inc.

Mr. Purcell received a Doctorate in Law from the University of Virginia.

Xouchee Moua

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Moua is the Chief Financial Officer at Nicklaus Brown & Co. He is responsible for the Financial Reporting of the portfolio companies and specializes in the development and implementation of Salesforce Solutions for wealth management and technology services companies. He has consulted and advised firms on how to optimize business process through Salesforce customization.

Mr. Moua received holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Genetics from the University of Wisconsin and received a Masters of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Charleston, where he graduated at the top of his class.
