GARY NICKLAUS

Managing Partner

Mr. Nicklaus is a Managing Partner of Nicklaus Brown & Co., the Chairman of Camden Capital, a multi billion dollar SEC Registered Investment Advisor and a member of the Board of Directors of Goods & Services, Blue River, Nearshore Technology, and Mura.

Mr. Nicklaus was formerly a Vice Chairman of the Nicklaus Companies where he was responsible for principal investments and designed golf courses throughout the United States, Spain, and the United Kingdom.

He is Co-Chairman of the Children’s Healthcare Charity, Inc. a non-profit organization which manages the operations of the Honda Classic PGA Tour event and is the primary beneficiary of the tournament. He is also a Commissioner of The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.  Mr. Nicklaus played golf professionally on the PGA Tour, the European Tour, and on the PGA Tour Champions Tour.

Mr. Nicklaus received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from The Ohio State University where he was an All-American in golf.

 

RORY BROWN

Managing Partner

Mr. Brown is a Managing Partner of Nicklaus Brown & Co., and the Chairman of each of its technology subsidiaries: Goods & Services, blueriver interactive, Nearshore Technology Company, and Mura Software.

Mr. Brown has focused on technology and investment management over the course of his career. He was the Chairman of one of the first Internet Banks,  the Chairman of a Registered Investment Advisor focused on high net worth families, and the Chairman of a multi billion investment management platform. Mr. Brown was named Financial Services Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young and has been a Co-Founder of companies that have been included in the INC 500.

Mr. Brown received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Charleston, SC and is a Certified Public Accountant.

JOHN PURCELL

Partner

Mr. Purcell is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Grenadier Associates Ltd., and serves as a Partner of Nicklaus Brown & Co.,  Director of NearShore Technology Company, and Omnicom Group (NYSE – OMC) where he serves as Chairman of the Governance Committee and is a member of the Finance and Executive Committees.

Mr. Purcell formerly served as Chief Executive Officer of SFN Cos. Inc., Executive Vice President and COO of CBS, Inc., Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Gannett Co., Inc. and as the Chairman of Donnelley Marketing, Inc.

Mr. Purcell received a Doctorate in Law from the University of Virginia.

GABRIEL APODACA

Partner

Mr. Apodaca is a Partner at Nicklaus Brown & Co., the CEO Blue River, NearShore Technology, and Mura, and a member of the Board of Directors for each of those companies, as well as Goods & Services. 

Mr. Apodaca has over 25 years of experience in developing, managing and marketing products and services for start-ups and Fortune 500 Companies. 

Mr. Apodaca was previously an Executive Vice President for a leading provider of technology outsourcing with offices in the United States and Mexico.  Mr. Apodaca was previously a Senior Director at Oracle Corporation where he was responsible for three development and implementation practices, and a Senior Manager in KPMG’s Information, Communication and Entertainment (ICE) practice.

Mr. Apodaca received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from National University.

MAE HUBER

Director of Marketing

Ms. Huber is the Director of Marketing at Nicklaus Brown & Co. She is responsible for executing on the marketing strategies of the portfolio companies.

Ms. Huber specializes in brand strategy, digital marketing, and lead generation. She is a creative individual with a structured analytical nature which allows her to develop metrics and results to measure performance.

Ms. Huber received a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honors from the College of Charleston and received her Masters in Business Administration from the University of Charleston with a concentration in Marketing.

XOUCHEE MOUA

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Moua is the Chief Financial Officer at Nicklaus Brown & Co. He is responsible for the Financial Reporting of the portfolio companies and specializes in the development and implementation of Salesforce Solutions for wealth management and technology services companies. He has consulted and advised firms on how to optimize business process through Salesforce customization.

Mr. Moua received holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Genetics from the University of Wisconsin and received a Masters of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Charleston, where he graduated at the top of his class.

KELLY GHOM

Director of Marketing

Mrs. Ghom is the Director of Marketing for Mura Software, Inc., and a Director of Digital Strategy of NearShore Technology. She is responsible for implementing digital strategy, implementing marketing and advertising campaigns, and aligning marketing tactics with the long-term growth of the company. She has experience in the financial, legal, and technology industries using data and analytics to drive digital strategy and lead generation.

Mrs. Ghom received her Masters in Business Administration from the University of Charleston with a concentration in Marketing.

BROOKE LORBER

Customer Success Manager

Ms. Lorber is the Customer Success Manager for Mura Software, Inc. Ms. Lorber oversees new clients and ensures all needs and expectations are being met. She is responsible for client onboarding, software training, and personalization strategy consulting. Ms. Lorber also has experience in brand strategy, content creation, and digital marketing.

Ms. Lorber graduated with honors as a Division 1 athlete from George Mason University, where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Marketing and minor certification in Communications.

MALLORY THOMAS

Marketing Associate

Ms. Thomas is a Marketing Associate at Camden Capital, LLC. She is responsible for maintaining brand standards across all marketing materials, building email campaigns and developing marketing/PR strategies for each advisor to further connect with target audiences. Prior to Camden Capital, Ms. Thomas interned for Garden & Gun magazine where she provided design solutions for G&G’s print, digital and social media platforms.

Ms. Thomas is an alumna of the University of Georgia, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism.

 

SIMONE SCANGA

Marketing Associate

Simone Scanga is a Marketing Associate at Blueriver. She is responsible for implementing all marketing efforts for the company across different platforms including but not limited to, social media, website design, search engine optimization, digital campaigns, and internal marketing materials. Prior to blueriver, she worked for Visiture, an SEO agency based in Charleston, SC where she was an account manager. 

Simone is an alumna of The College of Charleston where she earned a B.S. in Marketing and a minor in entrepreneurship.

DONOVAN BAILEY

Marketing Associate

Mr. Bailey is a Marketing Associate at NearShore Technology. He is responsible for maintaining the brand standards for marketing materials, creating content and supporting the business development team at NearShore. Prior to working for NearShore, Mr. Bailey was a marketing intern at TRIO Solutions Inc., a marketing communications agency.

Mr. Bailey received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the College of Charleston.

TREVOR BROWN

Financial Analyst

Mr. Brown is a Financial Analyst at Goods & Services where he assists with finance strategies, reporting and managing cash flows for Goods & Services and its affiliates. Mr. Brown has public policy experience within the oil and natural gas industry and has developed a passion for philanthropy and volunteerism within the special needs community.

Mr. Brown received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas Tech University’s Rawls College of Business where he graduated cum laude and as a presidential scholar.

ANDREW HAISFIELD

Development Specialist

Mr. Haisfield is a Development Specialist at Mura Software, where he is using his analytical background to implement a live-action marketing analytics tool to help optimize company spending, while also assisting with front and back end software development. Mr. Haisfield has an established passion for utilizing statistical analysis and data visualization to help people make more informed decisions.

Mr. Haisfield graduated from Wake Forest University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Computer Science with a minor in Statistics.
